Go Farther Than Ever Before

The street-legal Liberty will give a whole new perspective on going for a ride. Traditional PTVs have far fewer restrictions around them than low-speed vehicles, so in many communities a PTV is all you need. For those that require a federally approved vehicle for roads, the street-legal Liberty can get you wherever you need to go.

The street-legal Liberty follows the FMVSS 500 federal standard and SAE J2358 voluntary industry standard for low-speed vehicles. While most manufacturers adhere only to the mandatory federal standard, E-Z-GO goes above and beyond to follow both the mandatory, and the voluntary standards which require crash testing. Check with your local rules and regulations to find out more about your area-specific restrictions.

Why a Street-Legal Liberty?

While some communities allow traditional PTVs to be street legal by adding mirrors or reflectors, many require more specific safety features, like rollover protection, pedestrian warning systems, and backup camera. By making the Liberty an LSV, it has all of the top of the line safety features required by both federal and industry standards, as well as additional connectivity features, like an optional Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.
